Credits Credits department fulfills the activities of financial analysis, credit allocation, credit review/monitoring, legal follow-up of Corporate, Commercial, SME and Retail banking loans. In connection to the increasing number of clients and exposure level, Finansbank Credits Department in the year 2004 kept on growing by restructuring its organization. With the new organizational restructure, Credit Allocation Group is separated into two main groups (Corporate/Commercial and SME/Retail Credit Allocation Groups). Credit Review and Non-Performing Loans Groups are unified as one group. The fourth group is formed by the merge of Credit Analysis and Credit Inquiry services. Credit Allocation In order to ensure a rational distribution of exposure the priority is given to SME and retail loans and significant rises are recorded in these types of loans in 2004. Credit Review/Monitoring and Non-Performing Loans The main mission of the group which has completed its restructuring in 2004 is to control the continuity of the creditworthiness of the customer during the outstanding period. The group also checks repayment of principals, interests and commissions in terms. In addition collaterals are inspected and branches are informed and warned for the discrepancies found out. Non-Performing Loan service is conducting the functions related to the collection of corporate, commercial and SME loans that cannot be disbursed within the periods set by the law. Financial Analysis and Inquiry Financial analysis reports prepared by the Financial Analysis Service has noted an increase of 73% when compared to the previous year. On the other hand the inquiry demands of the branches met by the Inquiry Service has augmented %148. In order to achieve continuous, constant and better quality activities at the department highly qualified staff is employed. For that reason beside job trainings for the existing staff, experienced staff is also recruited from the other departments of the bank and from other financial institutions. Also newly graduated non-experienced students are selected among distinguished universities as management trainees. In connection to the growth strategies, restructuring is continuing at the department and new operations are developed to assure a secure credit allocation and collection process. |
