Among the natural disasters confronted in our country, those are the earthquakes which have caused the major structural damages. DASK is a precautionary package to minimize damages arising from earthquakes and it covers individual losses. DASK insurance policy can be made from all Finansbank Branches.
Compulsory Earthquake Insurance (DASK), covers tangible damages at the insured property (bases, bearing walls, common walls separating independent sections, ceilings and grounds, stairs, corridors, roof and chimneys, etc) that are caused by
after an earthquake.
Policies are issued by authorized insurance corporations on behalf and account of DASK (Natural Disaster Insurance Authority). Insurance corporations do not entertain risks on DASK policies.
- Buildings of public bodies
- Buildings in rural areas
- Buildings used for commercial and industrial purposes
- Properties built after 27.12.1999 but do not hold an appropriate licence in compliance with related regulations
- Buildings that have not been finished yet
- Constructions built on the areas that are not registered to deed and do not belong to private ownings (like public treasury)
